A six-month pilot project and a gas station with a B20 fuel pump containing a blend of 20% biodiesel will be built in the first phase.
The second phase will include jointly-operated biodiesel production using containerised modular equipment and proprietary feedstock technology.
The modular design and sustainability of the process is expected to produce biodiesel to support the Barbados National Oil Company’s long term goal of replacing conventional diesel with 100% biodiesel.
