A-Power inked the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract last Friday to build two sets of straw boiler of 12MW condensing steam turbines and affiliated equipment in Baisha County in Hainan, an island off southern China.
The straw resources will be sourced within a 50km radius of the proposed location.
“We are pleased to announce this new contract which will generate additional revenues and profits over a relatively short period of time,” says Lu Jinxiang, chairman and chief executive officer of A-Power.
