The solar-biomass plant, the first of its kind in Singapore, will have installed capacity of 260kW of solar power and 19.8MW of biomass energy.
All power generated from the plant, projected at 124GWh a year, will be subject to on-grid sale, according to CGNPC.
The project is scheduled to commence construction in May 2011 with commercial operation expected at the end of 2012.
