The state-run Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation will invest the money in a battery of renewables projects, including five windfarms totaling 1,600MW, and eight biomass projects. When finished, Rajasthan’s total renewable generation capacity will be 2,150MW.
Rajasthan currently has an installed wind energy capacity of 492MW, and a total biomass generation capacity of 46.3MW.
