Longyuan – China’s biggest wind-power operator – increasedits net profit to 624m yuan ($101m) in the first quarter, up 13.2% on the same periodin 2012.

Sales were 9% up overall. But wind-power was the starperformer for Longyuan, delivering a 32% uplift in revenue, which reached 2.4bnyuan on the back of a 33% boost in generation.
