The Cookhouse project in Eastern Cape Province was the largest awarded under South Africa’s first round of renewable energy tenders.
Suzlon signed a framework agreement with the developer, African Clean Energy Developments (ACED), in May 2011 to supply 66 of its 2.1MW turbines to the wind farm.
