Suzlon said the sales cover its S82 and S88 turbines and various models produced by its REpower subsidiary, without providing details of the respective share of the two brands.
It won the business in various deals inBelgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Poland and Sweden between 15 Februaryand yesterday.
Group chairman Tulsi Tanti claimed the REpower orders “highlight the continuing momentum in the wind sector, and for our group,across markets in spite of macro-economic uncertainties”.
