The 33-turbine Bodangora was given developmentconsent by the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure after a four-yearconsultation process.

The project, near the town of Wellington,faced opposition from some campaigners over claims that it would adverselyaffect residents’ health – a live issue in Australia's heated debate over wind planning.
