Investec is said to be seeking a sale for the A$910m ($880m) project, 15km north of Jamestown in South Australia.
It will use 105, 3MW turbines, making it one of Australia’s biggest wind farms.
Australia has recently seen a surge in renewable energy deals.
In June, Malaysian power group Malakoff reached agreement to buy a 50% stake in Australia’s 420MW Macarthur wind farm for A$650m ($603m).
