Ikeuchi Towel, a manufacturer of eco-friendly towels, bathrobesand related products, gained the label for sourcing 100% of its powerconsumption from wind.
"At Ikeuchi, we believe in sustainable production, andusing the WindMade label is a logical step. In this way, we can communicate ourcommitment to wind power to our customers and stakeholders," said KeishiIkeuchi, President of Ikeuchi Towel.
WindMade,which is backed by the UN Global Compact and conservation group WWF, requiresparticipating companies to obtain at least 25% of their electricity from windpower.
