Sinovel confirmed the inquiry bythe China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) in a Chinese-language filingto the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE).
The Chinese company gave nofurther details of the investigation or the allegations it faces.
“The company will activelycooperate with the CSRC's investigation,” Sinovel told the SSE.“It will strictly meet its obligations to disclose information.”
Sinovel is currently embroiled ina long-running legal battle with former supplier AMSC following allegations ofcopyright theft by the US power technology group.
