It is the second time in less than a year that the bureau has raised its 2013 goal, after lifting it from 100MW to 130MW last November.
In late April, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) announced a “three-pronged approach” to encourage the development of the domestic solar industry and install 3.1GW of PV by 2030. This includes a programme to install solar panels on one million rooftops and an industrial solar development plan.
