Michael Nacson, principal at the corporate transactionsconsultancy CSL, and Kurt Metzger, principal at the management consultancy GEMAdvisory, were nominated to the board by holders of Suntech’s 3% ConvertibleNotes.
Nacson and Metzger, both of whom are based in Asia, “comewith credentialed experience in restructuring and, in my view, will helpbenefit Suntech in the coming months”, says Suntech chairwoman Susan Wang.
Wang replaced ousted former chairman and chief executive ShiZhengrong in March, just weeks before the company defaulted on its bonds andwas shoved into insolvency.
