Mitsubishi will work with C-Tech, a unit of ChubuElectric Power, to build a 77MW project in central Aichi prefecture for morethan 20bn yen ($220m), the companies say today, confirming news of the projectleaked earlier this month. 

C-Tech will primarily handle maintenance andoperations for the solar plant, which is scheduled to start operatingby March 2015.

It will be located in Tahara, south of prefecturalcapital Nagoya, where the city government has been promoting the area’s strong insolation to attract investment.
