New Delhi – which has ramped up national solar ambitions to 20GW by 2019 and 100GW by 2022 under the government of Narendra Modi – has now invited companies from China, Japan, Germany and the US to lead investments, according to news reports.
The country has installed 3GW of solar to date and last year it approved 25 PV projects totalling 500MW to be developed in the next four years.
