Officials at Otter Tail Power Company say construction of the $110mn facility will begin this month with start up targeted by year-end. Otter Tail will construct a 13-mile 230-kilovolt power line needed to transmit electricity from the wind farm.
NextEra Energy Resources, a unit of FPL Group in Vero Beach, Florida, will act as construction manager and initial operator of the wind farm.
