Patten Energy Group will supply the utility with all 150MW of power from its proposed Spring Valley Wind Project 30 miles east of Ely in eastern Nevada. It is due on line by late 2011 and will be the state’s first major wind farm. Siting is proposed on US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property.
