Ormat Technologies is building the power plant under a fixed price engineering procurement contract for completion on 31 December this year.
Nevada Geothermal Power (NGP) reports that the control, administration and maintenance building for the project is nearing completion. Vaporizers, diffusers, and condensers have been installed; three generators have been delivered and installed on foundations, and cooling tower frame erection has commenced.
