“We have a very positive outlook for the next few years,” Horizon chief executive Gabriel Alonso tells Recharge, adding that the company hopes to increase its capacity by 700 megawatts (MW) on average per year between now and 2012.
“Under the Treasury grant mechanism, for every $100 we invest, we get $30 back from the government. And we are lucky in that we have a very committed shareholder in EDPR that will bring in the other $70.”
