Cosan Bioenergia will receive 20% of its funding, or R$500m, from the FI-FGTS state investment fund, which focuses on infra-structure projects, and is managed by the federal savings bank, the business newspaper Valor Econômico reports. Brazilian workers can invest up to 10% of their pay in the FI-FGTS fund.
Credit Suisse is apparently coordinating the deal. An official announcement is expected within days.
