The US arm of the German utility giant raised the financed from a group of investors including JP Morgan and Wells Fargo in return for a partial interest in the 200MW Wildcat 1, which began operating in December 2012.
The deal includes a commitment to fund further capital contributions, said E.ON C&R.
Wildcat 1 spans Tipton and Madison counties and uses 1.6MW
