AdvanceBio, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides consulting services and technology to companies that are developing new projects in the biofuels industry and biochemical sector.
"We are designing small-scale reactor systems for use by researchers who are developing the next generation of microorganisms, enzymes, feedstocks and crops," said Dale Monceaux, principal at AdvanceBio.
According to reports from the U.S. Department of Energy, more than a dozen companies are currently performing research to develop technology for next-generation renewable liquid fuels.
