The government body has received registration for 670 wind projects, totalling 16.42GW, and 152 PV plants adding up to 3.6GW.
There are also 10 solar-thermal projects totalling 290MW.
According to a statement issued by EPE, the volume of projects registered across all sources has reached 35GW, a record level.
After registration, projects need to be selected by EPE's qualification process in order to actually take part in the tender.
