Terms of the deal were not made public. Ralls is based in Delaware and owned by two executives of SANY, one of China's largest private companies.
Construction of the $37m community-based project is expected to begin in October. Pleasant Hill is the first phase of the proposed 300MW Crosby County Wind Farm.
“The acquisition and construction of this project represents Ralls Corporation’s continued commitment to the US wind energy market, and expands our operations in Crosby County to 30MW by the end of March 2014,” says Ralls chief executive and co-owner Jialiang Wu.
