Net income was $19.6m, or 15 cents per share, versus a $84.2m net loss, or 71 cents per share a year earlier. The result was also much improved from a $54.7m net loss, or 46 cents per share, in the first quarter. Excluding items, it earned 48 cents per share, well-above analysts’ estimates.
