Thecountry's watchdog Aneel has approved the rules for the A-5 national tender,which will take place on 13 December.
Wind andsolar projects will battle against each other, starting at R$122 per MWh ($52.5/MWh).At the same time, hydro and thermal plants will be dealt with in two separaterounds.
The capprice set for small-hydro plants and biomass units are above solar's, rangingfrom R$139 to R$144 per MWh.
