Susan Reilly, president of RES Americas and chair of the American Wind Energy Association, will stay on in her current role.
Davis was chief executive of Agile Energy, a San Francisco-based developer of utility-scale solar projects, until a year ago, when RES Americas acquired Agile’s solar development assets.
At that point Davis was made chief operating officer of RES Americas.
In his new role, Davis will “focus on advancing RES Americas’ growth as a leading developer, constructor and operator of wind, solar, transmission and energy-storage projects”, the company says.
