What Brazilians don't know – or expect – is that Renova is building up the muscle it needs to become a major solar integrator for residential and small-scale commercial consumers.
It is not absurd to believe that in a few years Renova will see its portfolio picture change from an almost exclusively wind-based developer into a sort of utility of renewables, with operations at the large-scale end of the market and also in the embryonic Brazilian retail solar sector.
