The utility, a unit of Pepco Holdings, estimates the solar plant could supply clean power for more than 1,700 homes and create 150 jobs during the construction phase. The plant will be named SUN Park.
Dover has chosen LS Power as its partner to plan and construct the 90 acre project.
The city’s Utility Committee will review the agreements that include a power purchase contract at a scheduled meeting on Monday.
