The German industrial giant placed the majority of the orderin connection with its 1GW turbine supply deal with MidAmerican Energy, said Broadwind.
The towers will be produced at Broadwind’s plants inAbilene, Texas and Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Broadwind said it has booked orders worth $389m in 2013.
