In Colorado, Xcel’s Public Service Company of Colorado signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with developer Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas for the output of the 252.2MW Cedar Point Wind project.
Meanwhile, in Minnesota, Xcel Energy operating unit Northern States Power Company has closed a deal with developer enXco to purchase the planned 201MW Nobles Wind Project in the southwest part of the state.
