New offshore wind installations are expected to reach a record 4.2GW this year in Europe and will grow even much further in coming years, Rystad Energy said.
The continent's capacity additions in 2022 will recover from a lull of 1.8GW last year, and top the previous annual record of 3.8GW set in 2019, the analysts said. New installations are then seen to almost double to 7.3GW
