Under the agreement, Deutsche Bucht will be temporarily connected by TenneT to the 800MW BorWin2 offshore link until its permanent hub, BorWin4, is completed.
BorWin2, which is already under construction, is destined to serve the 400MW Global Tech 1, another Windreich project, and Bard’s Veja Mate development.
BorWin4 is "still in the tendering phase" and no date is given for its expected entry into service.
