The loss at turbine manufacturer Nordex during the first nine months of 2020 widened as a one-off gain from the sale of a project portfolio to RWE didn’t fully compensate for the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and additional expenses from an EPC project.

The German-Spanish company managed to increase its consolidated sales by 63% year-on-year to €3.17bn ($3.74bn) during the first nine months, amid a rise in installations and production in the projects segment.
