Eurus Energy has started building an 18.37MW wind farm on the Japanese island of Shikoku. Enercon supplied eight of its 2.3MW turbines for the project, which is being built on a mountain ridge near Otoyo, Kochi prefecture. Eurus — a joint venture between utility Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) and Toyota Tsusho, the trading unit of the Toyota group — expects to start generating electricity at the site by May 2019.
