Hugh McNeal took over as chief executive of British renewables industry association RenewableUK in April, replacing the long-serving Maria McCaffery.
McNeal, who previously headed the Office for Renewable Energy Deployment at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), talks to Recharge about the future of the UK’s wind and marine-energy sectors.
After all the change in government support for renewables, how do you assess the opportunities for UK wind?
In RenewableUK of course we want British-based businesses to benefit from the build-out of offshore wind.
