Siemens Gamesa downgraded its top-end revenue guidance for 2021 after warning second half sales could be hit by the ongoing Covid crisis in key wind markets such as India and Brazil.

The Spanish-German OEM cited the pandemic and “project deferrals driven by customers’ activity planning” as it narrowed revenue expectations to a range of €10.2bn to €10.5bn ($12.3-12.7bn). The upper figure was previously €11.2bn.
