Vineyard Wind has committed to purchase inter-array cables from manufacturer Marmon Utility in Connecticut if the state selects its proposed Park City offshore wind project as part of a 2GW procurement round launched in August.
If Vineyard wins long-term contracts to supply 800MW or greater capacity, the developer is committed to selecting Marmon’s Kerite brand as its preferred cable supplier for at least 50% of the project.
