“The first [turbine] blade we made was baked in someone’s oven,” says chief executive Ditlev Engel. “This means a lot to our 22,000 colleagues.”
Vestas has manufactured more than 41,000 turbines, its units now producing more than 61 million MWh of electricity per year.
