Danish OEM Vestas received firm orders for 97MW of its V150 4.2MW machines for a wind farm in Brazil, pushing it past the 1GW mark of orders for the turbine since October 2018.
The order was placed by Echoenergia – controlled by British fund Actis – for the extension of the Serra do Mel project in the northeastern state of Rio Grande do Norte.
