Vestas will sell its last wind tower plant after agreeing a deal with South Korea’s CS Wind over its facility in Pueblo, Colorado.

The global turbine giant will take a volume of the plant’s output for its North American operations, leaving the US plant free to serve other OEMs in the market under CS Wind’s ownership, said a statement.

Vestas chief operating officer Tommy Rahbek Nielsen said: “Across our global supply chain footprint, we are involving more partners to build on the foundations we have established for wind energy.
