Vestas has lined up a debut commercial outing for its flagship 15MW offshore wind turbine that launched onto the market earlier this year.
The V236-15.0 MW has been pre-selected by developer EnBW to equip its subsidy-free 900MW He Dreiht project in the German North Sea.
Providing a firm order is signed later, Vestas will deliver the turbines to EnBW for installation in the second quarter of 2025 ahead of commissioning later that year.
