Vestas has received two turbine orders totaling 251MW that include multi-year service agreements, pushing the OEM’s order intake to more than 1GW in the world’s largest wind market.
The first 150MW order includes supply of 53 V120-2.2 turbines in 2.4MW “Power Optimised Mode” and seven V155-3.3 turbines, as well as a 5-year Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement.
Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter with commissioning planned before 1 October.
