Danish wind turbine OEM Vestas has landed the order to supply onshore turbines for a 50MW wind farm being developed on an intertidal site in Vietnam's Mekong Delta by local EPC construction company Bac Phuong JSC.
The Dong Hai 1 project site, located off Bạc Liêu province, is under water at high tide and some of the turbines foundations will be uncovered at low tide, according to Vestas.
