The 43.2MW project is an effort of the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, a group of 11 municipal utilities. It is being managed by Avant Energy.
Under the deal, Vestas will deliver the turbines next summer and aim to commission them by the end of 2011. It will also provide service and maintenance for five years.
