Vestas will cut about 200 jobs at its blade factory in Brighton in the US state of Colorado, citing falling near-term demand overall and specifically for the V136 turbine blades produced there.
The employees at the Brighton Blades plant were issued with 60 days advance notice on Monday by the Danish group, which is a major employer in the town.
