Vestas cut its financial outlook for 2022 as the global wind power giant said there was no let up in the pressures bearing down on the industry in the third quarter.

CEO Henrik Andersen said that while Q3 had seen Vestas’ selling price for its turbines rise and good progress by the company in offshore wind, “geopolitical uncertainty and high inflation impacted execution cost and activity levels in the wind industry”.
