Vestas has booked a 184MW EPC deal for the Warradarge Wind Farm in Australia, an order the Danish OEM said takes it past the 1GW mark in the country this year.

Vestas will equip the project in Western Australia with its V136-3.45 MW turbines power-optimised to 3.6MW and with 84-metre hub heights.

The order comes from Bright Energy Investments, a joint venture between local power group Synergy, investment group DIF and pension fund Cbus.
