Vestas Asia-Pacific chief Patel to take on China as wind giant merges regions

Wind giant Vestas will merge its Asia-Pacific and China operations into a new single regional business in a move it said will strengthen its presence across some of the world's most important markets.

The enlarged Asia-Pacific region and its 7,000 Vestas employees will come into being on 1 January 2022 led by Purvin Patel, president of the existing Asia-Pacific business.
