Vestas acquires US O&M specialist UpWind Solutions

Denmark’s Vestas, the world’s largest maker of wind turbines, has acquired California-based UpWind Solutions, a provider of operation and maintenance services to the US wind market, in a deal that underscores the growing commercial prominence of the wind O&M sector.
